Marquee Hire FAQ's

- Do you need to see where I want my marquee sited for outdoor weddings?
Yes, it is really important that we visit the site. Apart from giving us the opportunity of meeting you to discuss your ideas in more detail, it gives us a chance to survey the site for suitability – It’s too important a day to leave things to chance! Would you choose your wedding dress off the peg without trying it on?
After the site visit, we will provide you with a fully itemised quotation with scaled drawings to show you exactly what we can offer. These site visits are free and without obligation.
- How do I work out the size of the marquee I need?
We send out a guide to capacity with our brochure but this is just a rough guide. It does not take into account the bar, buffet or dance floor areas so this is why the site visit is so important as we will advise you on the size of marquee best suited for your event.
- My garden may be unsuitable - could you suggest an alternative venue where I could have my wedding?
We have a list of wonderful venues; please give us a call so that we can help you find a suitable one.
- Do you supply heating in the marquee for outdoor weddings?
Yes we do. Even in the depths of winter we can ensure that your marquee will be snug and warm.
- How does the marquee work if the weather is really hot?
Because of our unique system, we will supply enough opening windows to ensure that even on the hottest day your marquee will be cool and shady. This is when our marquees come into their own as you will be able to open them up to allow your guests to spill out into the garden.
- Can you supply marquees that attach to an existing building?
Due to our unique system our marquees can be linked and joined to form a variety of shapes and sizes and are particularly well designed to link up to buildings. We can create those intimate areas that are so popular for weddings – chill out areas, bar and lounging areas, separate dance floor areas, linked areas for gaming tables – the options are endless!
- When do you erect the marquees?
Usually we pitch the marquee two or three days prior to your event and take it down within a similar time scale. However, we would always liaise you with and try to fit in with any requests but to achieve this, the earlier we are notified the better.
