We started Southern Marquees over twenty years ago and realised very early on that we wanted to specialise in weddings, parties and corporate events.  Our attention to detail and the quality of our marquees is what makes us stand out from the crowd. 

We offer a modern clear span design unique to Southern Marquees.  Unlike other systems, our marquees retain the shape, charm and romance of the traditional marquees with all the advantages of the clear span marquee with no centre poles, giving an uninterrupted area inside.

We pride ourselves on our professional and friendly service and the amount of repeat business we have is a testament to this.  Organising any event can be daunting and stressful.  We at Southern Marquees do everything we can to make sure that the whole experience from the initial contact to the end of the event is as easy and enjoyable as possible.

To this end we would always recommend an initial consultation as this allows us to make sure that the correct size of marquee is quoted for and we understand exactly what you would like.  Follow up appointments are encouraged to make sure that we keep on top of any changes or alterations to your planning.  In this way we are able to tailor our service to your exact requirements.

Whatever you are planning, from a small intimate party, to a wedding or corporate event, we at Southern Marquees will work tirelessly to ensure that your day is special and because we have a wide range of linings, furnishings, flooring and lighting, we are able to control the quality of everything that we deliver.

Marquee hire is not all that we offer at Southern Marquees.  Our years of experience have given us the opportunity of building an extensive list of useful contacts of highly recommended suppliers.  These include:

Bands, Discos, Barn Dances, Jazz bands, Choirs, various musicians including Harpists,  Flautist, Saxophone Quartets, Palm Court Trios, Caterers,  Hog Roasts, Florists, Portable Bars, Wedding Cars, Bouncy Castles, Balloons, Fireworks, Toastmasters, Chocolate Fountains, Loo Hire,  Table cloths Hire, Casino Table Hire, Refrigerated Trailers, and Ice Suppliers.  All our contacts are available in a useful contact book that we send out with our quotations.
